Secure Data: Near Field Communication (NFC)

Smartphone wallet app uses NFC SDK and Technologies to complete a payment digitally.

Machine to machine communication

As thin as a paper, magical energy power and ability to flex. An NFC Tag that can store data to communicate and share information. Near Field Communications (NFC Tag) are one of the most secure ways of storing data. Requires a separation of 10cm or less to read/write with a maximum transmissible data rate of 424Kbit/s.

Case Study

One of the leading companies in the USA has deployed NFC tag onto objects to read and write serial number of the products. Codseg helped deploy the technology for over $900 million worth of goods in less than 2 months. Development for both iOS and Android app was less than 3 weeks. 20 bytes were written into each NFC tag and rendered readonly. This serial number can then be read via a secure app to retrieve the product information.
